The Edge Of Tomorrow by Curtis Johnson today i found the courage to accept as me, that passing smile i observed so vividly and candidly in my own minds' mirror, as the minty breath of life ran through my chest like an underground river through a stalagmite cave no grandiose event happened this day, only the down river scent of sweet smelling pine which must have passed under a thousand noses before its its' final soliloquy of sensuality the sun did not shine any brighter this day, but I did thank it for intruding upon my sanctimonious isolation. That i wish everyone were fed, will serve as sainthood for now, vowing no meal or morsel will ever follow a selfish swallow. History be damned, to create is to imagine, to suggest that what could have been, is, for those not bold enough to dare, for daring risks partnership with the gods, angels uncommissioned, who descend with madness, rescuing our souls from eternal self loathing. Let the end remain a mystery, prophecy prepares its' own prison, for passion alone will keep the stars in place, the heavens from collapsing. I am happy on this insignificant day, "why", never entered into my mind. Will you begin its destruction by insisting it must? |
