The Winter 2002 Authors

T.R. Healy is a mystery author from Portland, OR. We have been corresponding with Mr. Healy for the past nine months via post, and are sorry to say we know nothing about him. We did, however, enjoy his story.

Adam Katz is a Freshman at Cornell University. His home is in Westport, CT. Mr. Katz has been writing for the past year. We are pleased to the first to publish his promising work.

Jayme Kurland is a student at Brandeis University. Her home is Mansfield Center, CT. Ms. Kurland has been writing since childhood. She has previously won first place in the Windham Area Poetry Project. We are pleased to be the first to publish her promising work.

Aaron H. Midler is a high school senior from Trumbull, CT. Mr. Midler has been writing for the past three years. He has published work in This will be his second publication.

Patty Mooney is a video producer and writer from San Diego, CA. Ms. Mooney has been writing since 1969. She has published work in The Fairfield Review
(Spring-Summer 1998 and Summer 2002), Freezone Quarterly, pif Magazine, Cedar Hill Review & others. She has won awards from Red Cedar Review (Poetry Prize, 1974); California Press Women (1979); and San Diego Writers Group (2000).

Paul Pineiro is a High School Vice Principal in Montgomery Township High School in New Jersey. His home is in Metuchen, NJ. Mr. Pineiro has been writing for "as long as I can remember." He has published work in Untitled: The Rutgers Literary Journal, The Higginsville Reader, and The Paterson Literary Review. He has won various local short story and poetry contests. Mr. Pineiro is a member of Dodge poet, JC Todd's, six-person writing collaborative.

Wes Prussing is a sales and marketing representative from Palm City, FL. Mr. Prussing has been writing off and on since his early twenties. We are pleased that this issue of The Fairfield Review is his publishing debut.

Anna V. Q. Ross is a former Administrative Assistant, now enrolled in the M.F.A. program in Poetry at Columbia University. Her home is in Dorchester, MA. Ms. Ross has been writing poetry since the age of eight. She has published work in The CT River Review, Can We Have Our Ball, and Shampoo She has won the Sunken Garden Young Poets Award (1993); Gertrude Claytor Academy of American Poets, (1995); and the Clio-Melpomene Prize for Creativity in the field of Poetry (1997).

Angela Davis Tartaglia is a part time teacher and full time writer from Palm Harbor, FL. Ms. Tartaglia has "told wild stories long before I could pen them," but just recently began submitting her work for publication. She has published poems in Niederngasse, Poet's Cut, 3rd Muse, Duct Tape Press, Plain Brown Wrapper, Raven Electrick, and The Fairfield Review (Fall-Winter 2000). Ms. Tartaglia is a member of Pinellas Authors and Writers (PINAWOR).

Douglas Terry is a salesman from Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Terry has been writing seriously for the past eight years. We are pleased that this issue of The Fairfield Review is his publishing debut.

Jon W. West is a writer and musician from Tulsa, OK. Mr. West has been writing for the past 25 years. He has published work in Blue Cloud Quarterly, Beloit Poetry Journal, Adirondack Review, Suntracks, and Shantih. Mr. West is a direct descendant of those killed at Sand Creek.
